Purpose-built for aviation

Why "PartFive"

The name comes from 14 CFR Part 5 — the FAA's framework for Safety Management Systems. Today, Part 5 is formally required only for the largest aviation operators. But ICAO recommends SMS for every training organization, insurance carriers increasingly favor it, and the regulatory direction is clear: SMS is the future of every aviation operation.

PartFive exists to make that future accessible now. Part 5-aligned safety management — for the smaller operators, flight training organizations, and independent instructors who aren't required to do it, but should, and increasingly want to.

Our mission

PartFive was built by a working aviation safety professional, in a real flight training operation, doing real safety work — not by a software company guessing what aviation needs. The goal: raise the floor of safety management across the operators who don't have access to enterprise-grade tools, and make doing the right thing easier than not doing it.
